This petition has been filed by the petitioner-wife for transfer of Divorce Petition being MOP No.1093 of 2014 titled as "S. Ch. Srinivasa Rao Vs. Smt. S. Rani @ Pandiri Rani" pending in the Family Court at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh to the Family Court at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Although Ms. Shashi Kiran, learned counsel, has filed vakalatnama and memo of appearance on behalf of the respondent but she has neither filed counter affidavit nor appeared today when the matter was taken up for hearing.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, we are satisfied with the averments made in this petition and deem it expedient to transfer the aforesaid case to the Family Court at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

We direct accordingly.

The Family Court at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, shall forthwith transmit the record of the aforesaid case to the Family Court at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The transfer petition is allowed accordingly.
