Ms. Tulika Prakash, Adv. Upon hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R 1. Heard learned counsel for the rival parties. 2. It is not a matter of dispute, that the East Delhi Municipal Corporation surrendered the land in the year 2003, for which the UPSIDC had been paid a sum of Rs.3,07,30,871/- (Rupees three crore, seven lacs, thirty thousand, eight hundred and seventy one only). Despite having taken possession of the land, as far back as in the year 2003, the principal amount, mentioned above, has still not been refunded by the UPSIDC, to the East Delhi Municipal Corporation. We hereby direct the UPSIDC, to issue a cheque in the sum of Rs.3,07,30,871/- (Rupees three crore, seven lacs, thirty thousand, eight hundred and seventy one only), to the East Delhi Municipal Corporation, within one week from today. 3. Post for hearing after one week. 4. In case, the aforesaid cheque is not issued, or in case the aforesaid cheque is not honoured, the Managing Director of the UPSIDC shall remain present in Court in person on the next date of hearing.
