UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
During the process of selection the petitioners had issued a circular to the effect that the daily wage employees including Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) will get a period of five years for passing matriculation. After realizing that it was a mistake, another circular was issued on 20.09.2012 clarifying that the Circular dated 03.04.2012 would not be applicable in the case of newly recruited non matriculate MTS and they will have to acquire the qualification within two years of their appointment.
In the circumstances, justice would be met if the MTS Personnel are given a reasonable time. The petitioners may clarify as to how many among the respondents have passed the matriculation on or before 20.09.2012.
Post the matters on 20th July, 2015.
