The Writ Petition above-mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 09.03.2016 with other connected matters, when the Court was pleased to pass the following order:
"Let the matter be released from part heard and be listed on 16.03.2016.
Learned counsel for the parties are requested to file written notes or submissions by that day. In addition to the written note or submissions, parties are at liberty to file additional affidavits, if so advised."
It is submitted that pursuant to afore-said order, Mr. Krishnamurthi Swami, Advocate has on 10.03.2016 filed additional affidavit in reply by State of Telangana to the Short affidavit on behalf of Union of India. (Copy of the same as a separate paper book has been placed with the writ petition paperbooks).
It is further submitted that Mr. Deepak M. Nargolkar, Advocate has on 14.03.2016 filed brief submissions by State of Maharashtra (Copy of the same as a separate paper book has been placed with the writ petition paperbooks).
It is further submitted pursuant to afore-said order, Mr. V.N. Raghupathy, Advocate has on 15.03.2016 filed written submissions on behalf of respondent-State of Karnataka. (Copy of the same as a separate paper book has been placed with the writ petition paperbooks).
It is further submitted that the Writ Petition above-mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 30.08.2016 with other connected matters, when the Court was pleased to pass the following order:
"Let these matters be listed on 17th November, 2016. Learned counsel appearing for the parties submit that they will not seek any adjournment and the matter shall be argued for not more than three days."
It is further submitted that the matter above-mentioned was lastly listed before the Hon'ble Court with other connected matters on 12.04.2017, with office report dated 02.02.2017, when the Court was pleased to pass, inter alia, the following order:
"It is submitted by Mr. C.S. Vaidyanathan, learned senior counsel appearing for the State of Telangana that Mr. A.K. Ganguli, learned senior counsel, who is appearing for the State of Andhra Pradesh has a similar grievance to agitate and, therefore, the writ petition preferred by the State of Telangana should be heard first and thereafter the special leave petitions shall be listed. In view of the aforesaid, let the writ petition be de-tagged and listed on 19.04.2017. It is hereby made clear that no adjournment shall be granted on that day."
It is lastly submitted that Mr. Krishnamurthi Swami, Advocate for the petitioner has on 18.04.2017 filed an application for permission to file additional documents with permission of the Hon'ble Court. The application has been registered as I.A. No. 2 of 2017 (copy of the same is being circulated herewith).
The Writ petition along with application above mentioned is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report.
