Mr. S.K. Sinha, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Kanpur, Mr. S.R. Saha, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Kolkata and Mr. Vijay Kumar, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Lucknow, are present before this Court today.

We direct all the petitioners and the impleading applicants in respect of Kolkata to appear before the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner on 21.05.2018 at 10.30 A.M. We direct the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Kolkata to complete the verification process and submit a Report of this Court on or before 02.07.2018.

According to Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Lucknow, verification process has been completed and the Report has been filed. We direct the Ministry of Railways to file their response, if any, to the Report submitted by the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Lucknow, within four weeks.

It is submitted by the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner,

Kanpur, that the verification will be completed and a Report will be submitted before this Court. We permit the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Kanpur, to submit his Report, within four weeks, with an advance copy to the Ministry of Railways.

We also direct the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Kanpur and Kolkata to give the necessary intimation regarding verification to the Ministry of Railways so that they would be in a position to submit their report, which would facilitate the verification process.

List the matter on 04.07.2018.

In view of the action thus taken/proposed to be taken by the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Kanpur, Kolkata and Lucknow, their presence is dispensed with until further orders.

The State of Uttar Pradesh, being not a necessary party, the presence of Ms. Aishwarya Bhati, learned counsel for the State of Uttar Pradesh, is dispensed with.
