Having regard to the relationship of the parties, it would be appropriate if an attempt for settlement is made. Mediation Centre on 22.09.2017 at 11 a.m.
Learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 1 has informed that an order for grant of maintenance in the sum of Rs.5,000/- per month was given in the favour of respondent No.1. However, that has not been fully complied with and there are substantial arrears in this behalf. The mother-in-law and father-in-law, who are present in the Court, have agreed to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- towards arrears before 22.09.2017. Other modalities, including balance payment of arrears, etc., can be looked into before the Mediator.
List the matter before this Court in the third week of November, 2017.
We are informed that the matter is fixed before the trial Court on 05.10.2017. The trial Court shall adjourn the matter to a date after 13.11.2017. The petitioners herein would not be required to appear before the trial Court on the next date.
