UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R SLP (C) D. No. 6107/2021
Permission to file Special Leave Petition is granted.
The argument of the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners is that the order of the learned Single Judge has been substituted by the order in appeal though the settlement was only in respect of 1886 employees.
Issue notice on the Special Leave Petition as well as on the application for intervention/impleadment, returnable in six weeks.
Mr. Navin Prakash, learned AOR, accepts notice on behalf of Respondent No. 1 and Mr. R. P. Goyal, learned AOR, accepts notice on behalf of Respondent No. 2. Notice may be served on the other respondents.
Counter affidavit be filed within three weeks from today.
Diary No(s). 6354/2021
Permission to file Special Leave Petition is granted.
The learned counsel for the petitioner claims to have interest in the purchase of the property of the company in question. The fact that at one point of time, by virtue of an interim order, the petitioner has deposited some amount, does not create any legally enforceable right in the petitioner. We do not find any merit in the present Special Leave Petition. The same is, accordingly, dismissed.
Pending interlocutory application(s), if any, is/are disposed of.
