UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Issue notice.

Our attention has been drawn by learned counsel for the petitioner to an order dated 19th December, 2016 passed by the Office of the Gram Panchayat, Gandari, Ambikaram referring to the order passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No.12165 of 2015.

The order passed by the learned Single Judge has since merged with the order of the Division Bench in Writ Appeal No.592 of 2016 read with the Review Petition No.615 of 2016.

The Division Bench of the High Court has observed as follows:

"...Such of the candidates who found place in the merit list prepared as per scheme dated 2.6.2012 and if have been appointed after passing computer efficiency test, their appointments need not be disturbed as they have gone through selection process as contemplated under the scheme dated 2.6.2012 and their names find place in the final merit list prepared as per the scheme. That apart, this order shall be applicable only to the set of the petitioners who have approached this and it shall not to be applicable to such persons, who have not approached this Court."

Under the circumstances, the termination of the petitioners is stayed.
