UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

  1. We are not inclined to entertain these special leave petitions in exercise of our jurisdiction under Article 136 of the Constitution of India. The special leave petitions are, accordingly, disposed of.

  2. However, this order of disposal shall not preclude the petitioners to submit a representation before the appropriate department of the Government seeking relief on humanitarian grounds for discharge of long service as workcharged employees between 1986 and 2004.

  3. If such a representation is made and received by the Government, we hope and trust that the same shall be considered sympathetically having regard to the long service that the petitioner claim to have rendered. The decision of the Government on the representation, if made, shall not be unduly delayed.

  4. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
