1. Heard Mr. Yatinder Chaudhary, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard the learned counsel for the State. Respondent No.2 (complainant) is represented by Mr. H. 2. It seems that the proceedings are still pending in the High Court and the High Court is in seisin of the matter. Only because interim prayer for stay of investigation was refused, the present petition has been filed.

3. Having considered the circumstances, we see no reason to keep this matter pending and, accordingly, the same is ordered to be closed. The High Court may proceed to dispose of the pending matter.

4. While the matter is pending in the High Court, the protection from arrest granted to the petitioners will continue, subject to the condition that the petitioners will cooperate with the investigation.

5. With the above order, the Special Leave Petition is disposed of.

6. Pending application(s), if any, stand closed.
