We have perused the report filed by the State of Haryana in pursuance of order of this Court dated 13.05.2016.
Mr. Vijay K. Jain, AOR
Sh. Jaideep Gupta, learned Amicus has informed the Court that substantial compliance of the order has been taken. However,
2
he has pointed out that the possession of 21 acres of land has not been taken on the ground that there are some subsequent orders of the High Court.
Learned counsel for the State submits that he will furnish the particulars of the said 21 acres of land and why possession thereof has not been taken up in spite of judgment of this Court. If there are any orders passed by the High Court, copies thereof may also be filed.
It is further pointed out that documents with regard to land other than 253.9 acres have not been furnished. Let the State of Haryana furnish the same within two weeks from today.
As regards inquiry into the legality and bonafides of the acts of the persons responsible, learned counsel for the State submits that an Officer was appointed who has given a report but the State Government has not accepted the said report and proposes to take further action.
Let the State Government file further affidavit in this regard.
The fourth compliance report may be filed within two weeks.
List the matters on April 10, 2018.
