Counsel for the petitioner(s) submits that the issue raised in these petitions is pending consideration before the larger Bench in Civil Appeal Nos. 4056-4064 of 1999 'Mineral Area Development Authority and Others vs. Steel Authority of India and Others' reported in (2011) 4 SCC 450.

They have invited our attention to order dated 5th January, 2017 passed in Civil Appeal No.205 of 2017 @ Special Leave Petition (C) No.38117 of 2016 which according to them involves similar issue.

Issue notice, returnable in four weeks.

Dasti, in addition, is permitted.

No coercive steps be taken for recovery of the amount in question in the present proceedings till the next date of hearing.
