VERSUS

PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA & ORS. Respondent(s)

(FOR ADMISSION and I.R. and IA No.99318/2021-PERMISSION TO APPEAR AND ARGUE IN PERSON and IA No.99320/2021-APPROPRIATE ORDERS/DIRECTIONS )

Date : 10-01-2022 This petition was called on for hearing today.

CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY KISHAN KAUL HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.M. SUNDRESH

For Petitioner(s) Mr. Krishnaswamy Dhanabalan, In person

For Respondent(s)

UPON hearing ptr.-in person the Court made the following O R D E R

Application for permission to appear and argue in person is allowed.

Heard the petitioner appearing in person.

The writ petition has been filed under Article 32 of the Constitution of India by a petitioner who claims to be a Lawyer stating that the People's Republic of China has deliberately spreading Covid-19 as a 'biological weapon' and the Court should issue some directions to the Government to take

action. To say the least this is most misconceived and it is for the elected Government to take necessary action, if such an action has to be taken. The petitioner also wants certain addendum to the order of the National District Management Authority for solution of Covid-19 and that he is a Researcher and Scientist who has conducted research to find solutions for Covid-19 and claims that Virgin Coconut Oil dissolves the virus. We can't let every person who believes that he has some solution to the virus, to come up in a petition under Article 32 of the Constitution of India. Nothing has prevented him from making suggestions to the appropriate authority.

We do believe that it is only an endeavour to get his name in the Press and we expect the Press not to oblige.

The writ petition is dismissed accordingly. Pending application stands disposed of.
