UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
The petitioner/appellant was convicted and sentenced for life imprisonment by the Trial Court for the offences punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code r/w Section 3 and 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences, Act, 2012 (2 counts). Leave granted only on the question of sentence.
Considering the period of incarceration of the appellant, we are of the opinion that a case of bail is made out for the appellant pending appeal.
Accordingly, the appellant is directed to be released on bail forthwith on the usual terms and conditions to be decided by the concerned Court pending appeal.
