  1. Perused the report of Supreme Court Mediation Centre dated 09.05.2023 as also the settlement agreement of even date duly signed by both the parties, their learned counsel and learned mediators. The settlement agreement shall be a part of this order.

  2. Under the terms of the agreement an amount of Rs.5 lakhs was to be paid by the respondent husband to the petitioner wife which transaction has been executed today itself and is admitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the amount has been credited to her account.

  3. The respondent husband under the terms of the agreement has also to relinquish his right over the immovable property jointly owned by the parties being Flat No.13 A1, 13th Floor, Manjooran Orchid Meadow, AthaniKakkanad, Kochi in the State of Kerala within 90 days from today. the respondent husband upon instructions stated that the said terms and conditions would be duly fulfilled.

  1. Further, the parties have requested this Court to exercise its extraordinary power under Article 142 of the Constitution of India seeking dissolution of marriage by mutual consent. In view of the settlement arrived at, we find no reason not to grant this relief. Accordingly, the marriage of the parties stands dissolved as requested. Let a decree be drawn accordingly.

  2. The Transfer petition stands disposed of as above.
