Upon hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, we find no reason to interfere with the impugned order in exercise of our jurisdiction under Article 136 of the Constitution of India.
The special leave petition is accordingly dismissed.
As a sequel to the above, pending interlocutory application also stands disposed of.
Despite the above, we consider it just and appropriate to allow the petitioner to surrender within four weeks from today. If the petitioner surrenders within the time mentioned hereinabove, he may move an application for regular bail, which shall be disposed of on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible.
