UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

• 1 Mr R Balasubramaniam, senior counsel appearing on behalf of the Union of India in the Ministry of Defence states that Special Selection Board No 3 for women officers will convene commencing from 9 January 2023, when the case of about 246 women officers shall be considered.
• 2 Senior counsel states that the results will be de-classified immediately after the proceedings of Selection Board No 3 are concluded.
• 3 The respondents shall file an updated report on affidavit setting out the result of Special Selection Board No 3. Necessary steps for implementing the recommendations of Special Selection Board No 3 and for the grant of consequential promotions and benefits shall not be withheld on the ground of the pendency of these proceedings.
• 4 List the Miscellaneous Application on 30 January 2023.
