Re: Consumer Fora in the State of Uttar Pradesh

We are not inclined to issue a positive direction to appoint such persons who were recommende d for appointment on applications invited by reference to a cut-off date of the year 2003 in v iew of the delay that has already taken place. We direct process of selection and appointment to be initiated afresh by inviting fresh applic ations for all such vacancies as they existed on 31st December, 2004 and to conclude the proc ess of selection and appointment within a period of four months. The original record handed over by the learned counsel for the State of Uttar Pradesh on the l ast date of hearing, is returned to the learned counsel in a closed cover. I.A. Nos. 12-13 stand disposed of.
