Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon the judgment of this Court reported in 1996(3) SCC 75, - "Peddinti Venkata Murali Ranganatha Desika Iyengar & Ors. Vs. Govt. of A.P. & Anr." to contend that service Inam was abolished by Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) Inams (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act, 1956 and converted into Ryotwari. Therefore, the petitioners cannot be dispossessed from the land which was given to them as a service Inam.
