UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
SLP(C) No. 7844/2012
Learned Judge in Chambers, by order dated 20.11.2017, ordered thus:-
"Learned counsel for the petitioner states that Respondent Nos.12 and 18 have been served through Regd. Post with A.D. card and he seeks to produce the copy of the affidavit of service including those cards.
However, on perusal of the same, no signature is found. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the original bears the signature. It is for the Digitally signed by NARENDRA PRASAD Date: 2018.02.10
petitioner to satisfy the Registry by producing the original whether service has, in fact, been effected or not on Respondent Nos.12 and 18.
The Respondent Nos.20, 26 and 28 also have not been served.
The Special Leave Petition is five years old. I do not think any further time is to be granted to the petitioners to serve the respondents and thus these five respondents will stand deleted from the array of parties at the risk of the petitioner unless petitioner qua Respondent Nos.12 and 18 is able to show the original A.D. Card."
Pursuant to that, it seems, the original A.D. Cards are placed before the Registry.
The concerned Registrar (Judicial) to personally verify and put up a Report before the Court in respect of the signatures of Respondent Nos.12 and 18.
