UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

SLP(C)NO.2992/2024

Respondent no.1 has filed counter affidavit but after opportunity to file the same was declined on 12.2.2025.Registry to make specific mention of the fact in the office report while placing the matter before the Hon'ble Court.

Opportunity of respondent nos. 2,4 and 11 to file counter affidavit has already been declined.

Service is complete on respondent nos. 3,5 and 8 but none has entered appearance.

Respondent nos. 6 and 12 to 14 have failed to file counter affidavit despite last opportunity having been granted, as such, further opportunity stands declined.

Ld. counsel for the petitioner is granted two weeks' time to take fresh steps for re-issuing notice to respondent no.7.

Respondent nos.9 and 10 are granted four weeks' time as last opportunity for filing counter affidavit.

Ld. Counsel for respondent no.15 has cured the defects in the counter affidavit.

Respondent nos.3 and 4 are granted four weeks' time as last opportunity for filing counter affidavit.

As per office report, respondent nos. 5 to 7 have failed to file counter affidavit despite last opportunity having been granted and service is complete on respondent no.8. However, ld. Counsel for the said respondents has submitted that counter affidavit has been filed on 31.3.2025 at 3.25 P.M. on behalf of respondent nos. 5 to 8. Registry to verify and update the record. If filed, be taken on record, else further opportunity stands declined for respondent nos. 5 to 7.

Ld. Counsel for respondent no.8 has submitted that on the earlier date, he had wrongly stated that he was not entering appearance for respondent no.8. That particular submission has been retracted today with an apology alongwith the categorical submission that respondent no.8 will be represented by him. Submission is taken on record.

Ld. Counsel for respondent no.9 has cured the defects in the counter affidavit.

Service is complete on respondent nos. 10 to 16 but none has entered appearance.
