UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Mr. Jayant Sud, learned ASG submits that he will make a coordinated effort and will have a virtual conference with all the stakeholders represented before us to facilitate the agreed directions to be submitted before us and to the extent there is a difference of perceptions, those can also be placed before us.
In this behalf, Mr. Vipin Nair seeks to represent Mr. Narasimhan Vijayaraghavan, Advocate, who is dealing with the subject and submits that there are certain directions issued by the Madras High Court and the Committee of the Supreme Court dealing with the use of Artificial Intelligence is also examining some aspects. It is thus his submission that the directions to be issued should be in consonance with the same. This aspect can also be discussed in the virtual conference which has been agreed to be held. Mr. Vipin Nair may be given the connectivity for the next date as we will permit him/Mr. Narasimhan Vijayaraghavan also to assist us in this behalf.
Mr. Sourav Roy, Deputy Advocate General/Adv.l appearing for the State of Chhattisgarh submits that the Ministry of Road and Transport (MORT) should also assist in this behalf because they have some aggregated platforms which may also be of assistance in arriving at those agreed directions. The learned ASG submits that he will make sure of that.
Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that she has made some suggestions keeping in mind that the Delhi High Court and the Madras High Court inter alia have placed very effective machinery to take care of
practically all the problems and largely those directions can be replicated. This aspect would also be examined during the discussion.
The aforesaid should be filed before us latest by 12.03.2021.
List on 16.03.2021.
