IA No. 132263/2020 - APPROPRIATE ORDERS/DIRECTIONS

Issue notice.

M/s Abhimanyu Tewari, A.P. Mayee, Raj Kamal, Avijit Mani Tripathi, Nirnimesh Dube, Chirag M Shroff and V.G. Pragasam, learned counsel accept notice for respective respondents.

Remaining respondents be served through standing counsels.

We see from the service report of the writ petition that the State Governments have been served.

We have called upon learned counsel for the petitioner to submit a note to this Court of the slew of directions which she seeks to facilitate the process of disbursement of compensation as well as expediting the matter before the MACT in the conspectus of the judgments already passed by this Court and of the High Court referred to in the main petition.

Needful be done within ten days.

In case any of the respondents States have

reservation on any of the directions, they may be pointed out otherwise it will be presumed that those directions are in order and can be made by this Court.

We may note that as informed to us the system in pursuance to those directions is already substantively working in State Governments working in some States.
