1. IA 43422/2025 in W.P.(C) No. 489/2024 is at the instance of the High

Court for the State of Telangana seeking inter alia the following relief:

"(a) Permit the applicant to declare the results of the petitioners/candidates in the captioned matter, along with the petitioners/candidates in SLP(C) Nos. 11655, 21056, 21909, 34320 of 2024 and SLP(C) No. 314 of 2025, who sat for the Junior Civil Judges Examination pursuant to Notification No. 87/2024-RC dated 10th April, 2024 and 24 July, 2024."

2. Since the High Court as well as the State Government is under obligation to fill up judicial vacancies in accordance with the guidelines laid down by this Court on 4th January, 2007 in Malik Mazhar Sultan (3) v. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission1 and those following it, we are of the opinion that judicial vacancies cannot be kept on hold indefinitely.

3. Therefore, we permit the High Court to declare the results in terms of prayer (a).

4. We are informed by Mr. K.M. Nataraj, learned Additional Solicitor General representing the High Court that SLP(C) Nos. 2750-2751 of 2024 are pending before this Court, where similar issues are involved.

5. In such view of the matter, we are also of the opinion that these set of special leave petitions and SLP(C) Nos. 2750-2751 of 2024 should be heard together.

6. Subject to obtaining orders from the Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India, all these petitions may be placed before an appropriate Bench for analogous hearing.
