These Transfer Petitions are filed under Section 406 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 read with Order XXXVI-B of the Supreme Court Rules, 1966, for transfer of Complaint No. Nil filed under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 titled as Kishore Kumar Vs. Rama Rani pending in the Court of Magistrate 1st Class (Sub Judge), Jammu (J & K) and C.R. No. 01 of 2010 titled as Smt. Maya Chettri Vs. Rama Rani pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darjeeling (W.B.) to

the Court of competent jurisdiction at Ludhiana & Hoshiarpur.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Respondent, though served with a notice, is unrepresented before us. 3. In the facts and circumstances of the case and keeping in view the grounds urged in the transfer petitions, we deem it appropriate to allow these Transfer Petitions.

3. Accordingly, we order for transfer of Complaint No. Nil filed under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 titled as Kishore Kumar Vs. Rama Rani pending in the Court of Magistrate 1st Class (Sub Judge), Jammu (J & K) and C.R. No. 01 of 2010 titled as Smt. Maya Chettri Vs. Rama Rani pending in the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darjeeling (W.B.) to the District

and Sessions Judge, Hospharpur,Punjab, who may assign these cases to a Court of Competent jurisdiction.
