ê ITEM NO.102 COURT NO.4 SECTION III S U P R E M E C O U R T O F I N D I A RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS CIVIL APPEAL NO(s). 310 OF 2011 COMMR.OF CUSTOMS GUNTUR Appellant (s) VERSUS M/S SAMEERA TRADING COMPANY Respondent(s) (Office report on default) Date: 29/10/2012 This Appeal was called on for hearing today. CORAM : HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE GYAN SUDHA MISRA (IN CHAMBERS) For Appellant(s) Mr. B. Krishna Prasad,Adv. (N.P.) For Respondent(s) Mr.Senthil Jagadeesan,Adv.
UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
No one appears to represent the appellant. However, the statement of case has been filed by the counsel for the appellant which has also been served on the counsel for the respondents. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that he has not received the copy of the Memo of Appeal and, therefore, he is not in a position to file statement of case on behalf of the respondents. He is directed to take necessary steps to procure the copy and file statement of case. The lame excuse for non filing of the statement of case is not acceptable. If the counsel has entered appearance on behalf of the respondent, he should apprise himself as to what steps are required to be taken, if there is any default on the part of the counsel for the appellant in any manner.
