The matter abovementioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 1st February, 2016, when the Hon'ble Court was pleased to pass the following Order :

"Issue notice.

There shall be stay of any coercive steps for recovery of the demand made by the Income Tax authorities from the petitioner for the Assessment Year 2007-08 till further orders."

Accordingly, show cause notice was issued to both the respondents for 28th March, 2016. Income Tax Officer, Thiruvananthapuram sent a letter to this Registry stating therein that notice as duly accepted by Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Thiruvananthapuram and copy forwarded to Mrs. Anil Katiyar, Advocate and others, but no one has filed vakalatnama & memo of appearance so far.

The matter abovementioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 29th February, 2016, when the Hon'ble Court was pleased to pass the following Order :

"Issue notice. Tag with SLP (C) 2737 of 2016. There shall be stay of any coercive steps for recovery of the demand made by the Income Tax authorities from the petitioner for the Assessment Year 2008-09 and 2009-2010 till further orders."

Accordingly, show cause notice was issued to all four respondent for 28th March, 2016. Neither A/D card nor unserved cover containing the notice has been received back so far.

Service of notice is awaited.

The matters abovementioned are listing before the Ld. Registrar's Court for orders. DATED THIS THE 17TH DAY OF MARCH, 2016.
