UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
The plaintiffs, States of Punjab and Rajasthan,
are directed to file affidavits of their respective witnesses (examination-in-chief) on or before 11th May 2010. Two weeks thereafter, the respondent State of Haryana may file its affidavit (examination-in-chief) before Mr. Sunil Thomas, Registrar of this Court, who is authorized to record evidence in this case.
After the exchange of affidavits, parties would be at liberty to cross-examine the witnesses, if so desire, in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.

The Registrar may give tentative dates for the presence of the witnesses which the parties seek to crossexamine. To the extent possible, evidence may be completed during this summer vacation, so that the suits be ripe for hearing arguments.
Post the matter for 16th July 2010, for directions.
