It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for Respondent No.1/State that the land in question is in possession of the State ever since 2008. This submission is, however, disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioners. Status quo with regard to the possession, as on today, shall be maintained by the parties, until further orders.
