UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R It is stated that a Status report on behalf of

respondent no.2 has been filed yesterday. However, the same has not been put up by the Registry.

A copy of the Status Report is submitted in the Court. On perusal of the same, we note that although communications have been addressed by the High Commission of India at Islamabad to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Islamabad, there has been no response from the Pakistan Government to the said communications.

In the circumstances, the respondents may also consider issuing a similar communication to the High Commissioner of Pakistan in New Delhi, India so that the matter could be brought to the notice of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Islamabad and details regarding the whereabouts of the petitioner's daughter and minor grandson Wahida Begum and Faayaz Khan respectively could be known.
