UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

It is submitted by Mr. Amarendra Sharan, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner that the amount of compensation has been deposited with the respondent No.5, the Land Acquisition Collector.

Mr. Maninder Singh, learned Additional Solicitor General and Ms. Rachna Srivastava, learned counsel shall file an affidavit of the competent authority mentioning whether the amount of compensation has been deposited and on which head it has been deposited. The said affidavit shall be filed within two weeks hence.

Needless to emphasize, the affidavit to be filed by the D.D.A. can only be filed indicating the specifications of deposits, that is, date, head and the quantum.

Issue notice.

Mr. Sumeer Sodhi, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No.1, the real contesting party. He undertakes to file the counter affidavit within two weeks. Rejoinder affidavit, if any, be filed within ten days therefrom.
