UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

It appears from the office report that the ld. Advocate, Mr Anuvrat Sharma has moved a letter to the registry, requesting that respondent No.4 being an officer of the State of U.P.(who is already respondent No.1) need not be served separately and service should be treated as complete on -3-

all the respondents. I am afraid that such request cannot be considered as there has to be a proper and legal service of the notice on respondent No.4, though he may be officer of respondent No.1. Request cannot be acceded to. Necessary steps be taken accordingly. SLP(C) NO.33984-33988, 36334-40 of 2011

The ld. Advocate is directed to file vakalatnama/memo of appearance on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 and 2 in SLP(C) No. 33984-88/2011( State authorities) and respondent Nos. 1 to 3 in SLP(C) No. 36334-40/2011. Perusal of the office report indicates that steps be taken for filing process fee so as to facilitate issuance of notice to the concerned respondents.

Though process fee has been paid but not accompanied with an application for condonation of delay.

The ld. Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he has already moved an application in this behalf. Registry to clarify the position and then take further action according.

The ld. Advocate appearing for respondent No.9 has submitted that counter affidavit has already been filed on record.

The ld. Counsel for respondent No.11 has sought time for filing

counter affidavit. Four weeks' time is granted. -4- Item No.19 It is pertinent to note that office report in this regard is silent. SLP(C) NO.4687, 7540 of 2012 Service report is awaited. SLP(C) NO.1082-1083/2012 Respondent Nos.1 and 2 are reported to be duly served but none appeared. Respondent No.3 is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit. The ld. Counsel for the petitioner has requested for issuance of dasti against respondent Nos. 4 to 8. Allowed. Necessary steps be taken accordingly. SLP(C) NO.3473/2012 Service report is awaited in respect of respondent Nos. 1,2 and 4 to 8. Respondent No.3 is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit. SLP(C) NO.4249/2012 Respondent Nos. 2 and 8 are granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit. Respondent Nos. 3 to 5 are reported to be duly served but none appeared. Respondent no.7 has already filed counter affidavit on record. Service report is awaited in respect of respondent No.6. -5- Item No.19 However, status of respondent No.1 is not clear from the office report. Registry to submit a correct and proper report reflecting on the status of each of the respondents so as to facilitate this Court to pass necessary orders as per rules. SLP(C) NO.8439/2012 Respondent No.1 is reported to be duly served through post but none appeared. Respondent No.2 is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit on record. Service report is awaited in respect of respondent No.3. SLP(C) NO.7146/2012 Service report is awaited in respect of respondent Nos. 1 and 3. Respondent No.2 is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit on record. SLP(C) NO.16380, 11879 OF 2012 Respondent Nos. 1 and 3 are reported to be duly served through post but none appeared. Respondent No.2 is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit on record. The ld. Counsel for the petitioner has requested for issuance of dasti against respondent No.4. Granted. Necessary steps be taken accordingly. SLP(C) NO.4242/2012 The ld. Counsel for the petitioner to take necessary -6- Item No.19 steps for depositing the process fee and filing spare copies by next date positively so as to facilitate the registry to issue notices to the respondents. SLP(C) NO.3242/2012 It appears that notices were issued in the month of March, 2012. It would be appropriate for the ld counsel for the petitioner to take necessary steps for getting the fresh notices re-issued through the concerned District Court. Necessary steps be taken accordingly. SLP(C) NO.8849/2012

Service report is awaited in respect of respondent Nos. 1 and 2.

Respondent no.3 is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit on record. SLP(C) NO.7436/2012

It appears from the office report that show cause notices were issued to respondent Nos. 1 and 2 on 27.6.2012 and its report is still awaited. It would be appropriate if fresh notices are re-issued through the ld. District Court. Necessary steps be taken accordingly.

Respondent No.3 is granted four weeks' time for filing counter affidavit on record.

SLP(C) NO.13641-13646/2012 Office report indicates that service is complete on all the respondents but it does not specify and present a correct picture about the status of respondents.
