O R D E R

We have heard learned counsel for the parties.

This transfer Petition has been filed by the petitioner-wife seeking transfer of the proceedings of Petition being O.P. No. 5562 of 2021 titled 'Major(Dr.) Anirudh K. Menon vs. Dr. R. Sreelekshmi Pillai' pending before the Hon'ble Family Court at Chennai, Tamil Nadu to the Hon'ble Family Court, East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

During the pendency of this transfer petition, the parties have entered into a compromise and a joint application has been filed praying therein to grant a decree of divorce in exercise of powers conferred under Article 142 of the Constitution of India in terms of the settlement between the parties.

As per the terms of settlement, the parties shall withdraw all the cases pending between the parties.

In view of the settlement reached between the parties, the marriage between the petitioner-wife and the respondent-husband shall stand dissolved by a decree of divorce with mutual consent in terms of the Settlement Agreement.

The parties henceforth, shall not have any claim against each other, whatsoever, in respect of the matrimonial dispute.

Let a decree of divorce be drawn accordingly and the Settlement Agreement shall be made a part of the decree.

With the aforesaid orders and directions, the transfer petition stands disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
