Learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the petitioners submits that though SLP(C) No.21730 of 2022 came to be decided with this Court declining to interfere with a similar order of the High Court but, fact of the matter remains that before taking possession, total compensation had already been paid while Digitally signed by Jagdish Kumar Date: 2023.02.08 15:30:35 IST Reason: Signature Not Verified

calculating the market value of the land @ Rs.5,995/- per sq. yard and providing for the other components of compensation.

Learned Additional Solicitor General would submit that the order as challenged before the High Court, when relates to the enhanced amount of compensation and in that regard, the High Court has provided for deposit of the entire amount by the petitioners and then withdrawal of 75% thereof by the respondents without security, is likely to cause serious prejudice to the petitioners.

Issue notice.
