Since this appeal is filed against an interim order, we are not inclined to entertain the same. Consequently, the appeal is dismissed.

Mr. Goolam E. Vahanvati, learned Attorney General has, however, brought to our notice that although the appeal is fixed for hearing on 23 January, 2014, the Appellate Tribunal may, possibly, not hear the appeal as the amount which is liable to be paid has still not been paid. We are confident that the apprehension expressed by the learned Attorney General is wholly misplaced. The appeal is fixed for hearing tomorrow and we are certain that the appeal will be heard on merits.
