- 1 Mr Dhruv Mehta, Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, has placed on the record a copy of the order passed on 24 January 2022 in SLP (C) No 762 of 2022 by a Bench presided over by Hon'ble Mr Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul. Mr Mehta states that the present proceedings arise out of the common judgment and order of the High Court for the State of Telangana dated 22 December 2021, in a batch of petitions, which is impugned in the Special Leave Petition noted above.
- 2 In the circumstances, we direct issuance of notice.
- 3 Following the ad-interim order which has been passed on 24 January 2022, we direct that the matter may not be reported to the CBI for the time being.
