UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Delay in SLP(C) Diary No.959/2025 is condoned.
We have heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner(s) and learned counsel for the respondentcaveator(s) on the interim relief(s).
Issue notice to the respondents.
Ms. Jyoti Dastidar, leaned counsel accepts notice for the respondent(s) in SLP(C) Nos.2611-2622/2025 and SLP(C) Nos.3899-3924/2025 on caveat.
We direct interim stay of the judgment of the High Court subject to the petitioner-State depositing the entire compensation amount with statutory benefits as awarded by the Reference Court within a period of six weeks from today.
In the event there is non-compliance with the aforesaid order, the interim order of stay shall stand vacated automatically.
On such deposit being made before the Reference Court, liberty is reserved to the respondent-land losers to make their necessary applications and seek withdrawal of the said amount.
It is needless to observe that such applications shall be considered and disposed of expeditiously.
