For Respondent(s)
UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
Permission for admission to PG Ayurveda courses was rejected by the petitioner for the Academic Year 2018-2019 on the ground that the required facilities were not available with the respondent-Colleges. The single Judge of the High Court quashed the order by which permission for admission to PG Ayurveda courses was denied in the Colleges. Subject to the order passed by the learned single Judge, 9 students in Writ Appeal No.542 of 2020 and 10 students in Writ Appeal No.541 of 2020 were granted admission for the Academic Year 2018-2019. Permission was granted to the Colleges by the petitioner for the Academic Year 2019-2020 after an inspection for that year.
Ms. Aishwarya Bhati, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the petitioner submits that availability of infrastructure and other facilities in the Academic Year 2019-2020 would not have a bearing on the deficiencies that were found in the Academic Year 2018-2019. She further submits that the students who have been granted admission in the PG Ayurveda courses in the respondent-Colleges for the Academic Year 2018-2019 will not be disturbed. She prays that the question of law arising in these matters needs consideration by this Court.
