We have heard Mr. Sushil Karanjkar, learned counsel appearing for the appellant – State of Maharashtra at length today.

We do not find that there is any reason to interfere with the impugned order dated 21-8-2007 so passed by the High Court of Judicature at Bombay.

In view of that, we find no merit in the appeals filed by the State of Maharashtra.

Accordingly, the Criminal Appeals are dismissed.
