Mr. Maninder Singh, learned Additional Solicitor General, submits that the issues arising for consideration in this petition stand answered against the petitioners by judgment dated 24th September, 2014, passed by this Court in Civil Appeal Nos.4717-4719 of 2013 - Union of India and others vs. Atul Shukla and connected matters-(2014) 10 SCC 432. In that view, therefore, no substantial question of law of general/public importance survives for our consideration in this application for leave to appeal.
The prayer for leave to appeal is accordingly declined and the application dismissed.
