Hon'ble Mr. Justice Abhay S. Oka, J. pronounced the judgment for the Bench comprising Hon'ble Sanjay Kishan Kaul, J., Hon'ble Sanjiv Khanna, J., His Lordship, Hon'ble Vikram Nath, J. and Hon'ble J.K. Maheshwari, J. The Bench inter alia directed as under:
"In the circumstances, we are of the view that the present writ petition deserves to be tagged with Review Petition (Civil) No.3358 of 2018 pending before the Bench of nine Hon'ble Judges. We, accordingly direct the Registry to seek appropriate directions in this behalf from the Hon'ble Chief Justice."
The Criminal Appeal No.39 of 1991 which is already tagged with the Writ Petition, be also tagged with Review Petition (Civil) No.3358 of 2018.
