Learned counsel for the petitioner/State submits that the land in question of the respondents is actually not required now for the construction of the foot over bridge as the foot over bridge already stands constructed adjacent to the land of the respondents.
It is thus suggested that the land shall be released by the petitioner(s) and in turn the respondents may deposit the compensation which they have received on the acquisition proceedings under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.
Learned counsel for the respondents seeks some time to obtain instructions.
