This appeal is pending for adjudication since last decade and the case has been deferred for one reason or the other.
Even the counsel for the appellant sought time to argue the appeal on 17.02.2022 and on his request the case was deferred for 25.02.2022 and on that day also, the same request was made and again requested to deffer the case for today.
Today also, no-one is there to argue the appeal. However, in the interest of justice, last opportunity is granted to the counsel for the appellant to argue the appeal.
In case, the counsel for the appellant fails to appear and argue the matter on the next date of hearing, this Court would have no option except to hear and decide the matter finally on the same day.
