The applicant herein was granted second parole of thirty days by the District Parole Advisory Committee, Pali vide its recommendations dated 26.02.2019. However, he could not avail the facility of parole because his family members have not been able to make arrangements of two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each so as to fulfill the requirements of parole recommendations.

The convict has forwarded this writ petition with the prayer that he should be released on second parole by furnishing personal bond only.

Considering the fact that the convict hails from an indigent family background and he has not been able to avail the facility of parole for the last five months owing to the fact that his family members could not make arrangements of the surety bonds, we deem it fit and proper to release the petitioner on second parole of thirty days by relaxing the condition of furnishing two surety bonds as imposed by the District Parole Advisory Committee, Pali vide its recommendations dated 26.02.2019. The said requirement is waived. The other conditions of the order are maintained.

The writ petition is allowed, accordingly.
