Seema Sharma has filed this transfer petition under section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of divorce petition filed by respondent Deepak Sharma under section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 from Kurukshetra to Yamuna Nagar.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the case file.

It is alleged that the petitioner is residing at Yamuna Nagar and therefore, it would be inconvenient for her to travel to Kurukshetra on every date of hearing to attend the case.

In view of the aforesaid, the instant transfer petition is allowed. Divorce petition under section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, titled "Deepak Sharma Vs Seema Sharma," case No. 1404/12.12.2008 pending in

the Court of Mr. Shekhar Dhawan, Additional District Judge, Kurukshetra is transferred to the court of learned District Judge, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri who shall be at liberty to keep the same himself or to assign it to any Additional District Judge there.
