[1] Prayer in the petition is for taking action against the respondent for intentional and willful defiance of order, Annexure P/2 dated 24.02.2022 in CWP No.3576 of 2022.
[2] A perusal of order, Annexure P/2 dated 24.02.2022 reveals that CWP No.3576 of 2022 was filed for seeking directions to the respondent(s) to consider and decide the first appeal filed by the petitioner on 13/14.01.2022. The said petition was disposed of by taking into account the statement of the learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab that the appeal filed by the petitioner was listed on 03.03.2022 and that the respondent-authorities would make all efforts to take up the same on the said date and decide it within two-three weeks, thereafter.
[3] Although notice has yet not been issued in the instant case, yet at the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the respondent has decided the appeal filed by the petitioner, therefore, in the circumstances, he does not press the instant petition and may be [4] In view of the position noted above as well as statement of learned counsel for the petitioner, no action under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 is called for against the respondent.
