This appeal coming on for conciliation this day, the Bench passed the

following:

ORDER

Parties have agreed to enhance the compensation amount by a further

sum of Rs.1,75,000/- (Rupees One Lac Seventy Five Thousand Only)

without any interest. The other conditions of the award passed by the Claims Tribunal shall be applicable.

Let the enhanced compensation amount be paid within a period of two months from today, failing which enhanced amount shall carry the further interest @ 6% per annum from the date it becomes due, i.e. from 09/02/2024, till the payment is received.

As the matter has been settled in Lok Adalat, therefore, the appellant shall be entitled for refund of Court fees.

The appeal is finally disposed of.
