The petitioners have filed the present petition praying for a direction to the respondents to provide them employment as per the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy of the State of M.P. 2002.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the land and the land has been acquired by the Shri Singa Ji Thermal Power Project, Khandwa. Although, the land of the petitioner has been acquired he was not extending the benefit of scheme which is framed by the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Police of the State of the M.P. 2002. He further submits that a liberty may be granted to the petitioners to file appropriate representation before the respondents.

In view of the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to submit a detailed representation along with all relevant documents before the respondents within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. On receiving such a representation, the respondents shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of three months thereof. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of with no order as to costs.
