Heard Ms. P. Pradhan Thapa, learned counsel for the petitioner who has submitted that this is an application for grant of bail in respect of Shri. Daniel Syiem who was arrested in connection with Umsning P.S Case No. 21(7) 2023 under Section 21(c)/29 of the NDPS Act. It is also submitted that the stage of the case is for consideration of charge. However the petitioner has now approached this Court for grant of bail on behalf of the said accused in question.
Mr. K. Khan, learned P.P has accepted notice on behalf of the State respondent and as such, no formal notice is required to be issued.
The prosecution is directed to produce copy of the case diary including charge sheet on the next date fixed.
List this matter on 09.09.2024.
