The Syiem of Raid Marwet and the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council are added as respondent Nos.11 and 12, respectively.
It is submitted by the State that the relevant cattle market at 9th Mile in Khanapara is run by the Syiem of Raid Marwet or, at any rate, the land on which such cattle market operates is owned by the Syiem of Raid Marwet and licensed out for such activity.
Copies of the petition and all the connected papers should be forwarded to the added respondents for such added respondents to be represented when the matter appears three weeks hence.
The State's views on the matter should be indicated by way of an affidavit that should be filed a week before the next adjourned date.
